You Don't Know What You've Got 'Til It's Gone

The Health Bill marks the biggest changes to the NHS since it was founded. But for many people - who currently find themselves and their families in good health - the adverse effects of these changes will not be felt until they do need treatment, by which time it will be too late to do anything about them.

So we've envisaged how the plans will affect ordinary patients, by imagining several scenarios that might happen to you, your child or your elderly parent. None of these scenarios are exaggerations. They are all the likely result of the policies in the government's controversial NHS White Paper.
